Crocheted to a crisp

When Xochitl Zuniga left teaching to open her dream yarn shop, she thought it would be all skeins and hooks, with no stress. After partnering with her best friend, Am, she expected work to be a non stop party, or tele-novela depending on Am’s current love life. She hadn’t expected there to be a dark side to owning a yarn store.

For the last four years, Xochitl (pronounced Zo-chee), immersed herself in the world of yarn and fiber arts, with a specific obsession of anything in overlay mosaic crochet. After living through the 2020 Covid pandemic and doing everything to keep her business thriving during the years following, Xochitl is finally able to reopen the shop and host classes again. Some fun crochet nights ensue, but it’s really during her monthly crochet group meet ups where she gets loose. And also where betrayal begins.
